Creating Value!

Dorian Drake’s Industrial and Environmental Group is the sales and marketing representative of the Carver Pumps brand of equipment in its markets.

Since Carver Pumps built its first pumps in 1938, the Carver name has become synonymous with value. Today, Carver Pump is recognized as one of the world’s leading centrifugal pump companies, building pumps to the most demanding engineering specifications and military standards in the world.

Carver Pump is located in Muscatine, Iowa, 25 miles southwest of the Quad Cities area. Operations include some of the most modern manufacturing equipment and pump development software available. Carver is also committed to the highest quality of products. Along these lines, Carver was also one of the first American pump companies to attain ISO 9001:2008 Certification—the most recognized standard for quality in the world. From an applications standpoint, Carver has traditionally built pumps for water, oil, and chemicals for both the public and private sectors. Carver’s product line includes both horizontal and vertical end suction, multistage, axial split case, self-priming, API, and solids-handling pumps that all carry the same Carver trademark: lasting value from solid, straightforward designs engineered to provide many years of service.

So whether the job is refueling fighter jets on the deck of an aircraft carrier, supplying paint to an auto assembly line, or bringing water to the fountain in a city park, Carver Pumps puts its reputation on the line every day with every pump built.

API-610 Process Pump

For Flows to 9,000 GPM

The Maxum is Carver’s API-610 process pump for handling water, acids, and hydrocarbons in refining and process industry applications. Offered as either a horizontal centerline or foot mounted unit, the Maxum can be motor, engine, or turbine driven. It is also available in a vertically mounted configuration and as a magnetic drive unit as well.

RS Series – Multi-stage, Ring Section Pump

For Pressures to 1,500 PSI

The RS is our new process duty, horizontal ring section multi-stage pump. Designed for moderate to high pressure pumping, the RS is available in five basic sizes with overall performance to 1,000 HP.

GH Series – End Suction Centrifugal Pumps

For Flows to 2,500 GPM

The GH is Carver’s horizontal, end suction pump series for handling water, oils, and chemicals in marine, process, and general industrial applications. Hydraulic performance extends to 2,500 GPM and is covered by twenty-eight sizes in cast iron, bronze fitted, 316 stainless steel fitted, and all 316 SS construction.

ETA Series – High Capacity End Suction Pump

For Flows to 10,000 GPM

The ETA is Carver’s large flow, end suction pump series for handling water, oils, and chemicals in process and general industry applications. Designed as a horizontal foot-mounted unit, the ETA can also be vertically mounted and electric motor, diesel engine, or steam turbine driven.

GVC Series – Vertical, Cantilevered Pump

For Flows to 2,500 GPM

The GVC Series is Carver’s new vertical pump series for handling fluids at moderate to high flow rates. The standard design is a cantilever style unit, with a top pull-out option also available. Hydraulic performance extends to 2,500 GPM at 1,750 RPM and is covered by twenty-five sizes in cast iron, 316 SS fitted, and all 316 SS construction. For added simplicity, the entire series is based on only three bearing frames and can be had in whole pump or modular kit form.

GVS Series – Vertical Sump Pump

For Depths to 22 Feet

The GVS Series is Carver’s new vertical wet pit pump for handling water, acid, and alkaline solutions in both general service and process industry applications. Hydraulic performance extends to 2,500 GPM at 1,750 RPM and is covered by twenty-four sizes in cast iron, 316 SS fitted, and all 316 SS construction, with higher alloy materials available. For added simplicity, the entire series is based on the same product platform as our horizontal pumps and is covered with only two bearing frames.

M Series – ASTM F 998 Close Coupled Centrifugal PumpsMil horizontal close coupled

For Flows to 5,000 GPM

The M Series is Carver’s end suction pump for handling freshwater, seawater, and light hydrocarbons in commercial marine and naval applications. Conforming to the requirements of ASTM F 998, including the Navy supplement, hydraulic performance extends to 5,000 GPM and 700 feet of head. This range is covered by twenty-four sizes in 316 SS and CD4MCu duplex SS as the standard materials.
