The Automotive group is very pleased to welcome Han Min Chen, aka Steve Chen, as an Area Manager, where he will assume responsibility for sales management in Asia & the Pacific region for the group’s product lines.  Steve will be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and report to Knut Sauer, the automotive group manager.

Steve brings to Dorian Drake 11 years of sales management experience, with 8 years in the Automotive industry, working in the trade, sourcing, and project planning, in both the OEM and aftermarket channels.  Most recently Steve was the Sr. Business Development Manager at Dpeco Asia, focused on OEM’s like Honda and Proton.  Prior to that Steve was the Head Sales Manager for LG Electronics, Vehicle Components division in Malaysia.

Steve is fluent in Malay, Mandarin, and English, and has a B.S. degree in Engineering.

Steve’s start date with Dorian Drake is May 6th, at which time he will be joining the Middle East team at the Automechanika Dubai exhibition, where we are exhibiting the complete portfolio of product lines.  Following Automechanika Dubai, Steve will be visiting our New York headquarters for orientation and training, and then join our Europe team at the Reifen Show in Essen for further product training and exposure to the tire service and repair market.
