White Plains, NY (November 4, 2013) – Dorian Drake International, Inc. announced this week the incorporation of a new trading company in Brazil. The new company, Dorian Drake do Brasil Ltda., will be able to buy and sell products in Brazil and trade in reais, the Brazilian currency.

Ed Dorian Jr., Dorian Drake International’s managing partner, said the New York-based export management company registered the new company as part of a market-entry strategy with one of its principals in the foodservice equipment industry, but hopes to leverage its new Brazilian entity in other strategic ventures.

“Brazil is an enormous market but also a complex one,” said Ed Dorian Jr. “Incorporating there provides us and our manufacturer clients with strategic options that otherwise would not be available.”

Based in White Plains, N.Y., Dorian Drake International is an export management company that manages international sales and marketing, customer service, credit and collections, and traffic and logistics for manufacturers selling in markets outside the United States. The firm staffs stand-alone sales teams in four distinct industries: automotive products, foodservice equipment and supplies, hardware and lawn & garden products and industrial and environmental products.
