NEWS RELEASE - Dorian Drake Opens New Dominican Republic Sales Office

White Plains, New York (January 12, 2011) -- Dorian Drake International, Inc. has announced the opening of a new regional sales office in the Dominican Republic as part of its expansion in the Latin American & Caribbean region. 

The new office will be managed by Ricardo Curi, who effective January 3 was promoted to the position of area manager for Dorian Drake's foodservice group. A Dominican Republic native, Mr. Curi worked for Dorian Drake beginning in early 2008 in various sales capacities from the firm's New York headquarters before relocating to the Dominican Republic to open the new office at the end of 2010. 

Mr. Curi in his new role will be responsible for the group's sale to the Caribbean Islands and parts of Central America and continue to report to Juan Acosta, the group’s regional manager for Latin America and Caribbean. Mr Acosta will continue to manage the group's sales in South America and the balance of Central America while the group's Mexico area manager, Patricia Bernal Garcia, will continue to concentrate on the Mexican market.
